Wrote and directed multiple family programs including What’s The Big Deal About Beethoven?  for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and Mr. Teech Learns A Lesson for the Indiana Dept. As an educator, he created the theatre program for University High School of Indiana, which focused on inclusion and equity of all identities and neurodivergencies. He was part of the creative team that formed the Oak Hill Fine Arts Academy. As an audition coach, Ty has helped people into their first-choice college programs, careers in Broadway, national tours, regional theater, commercials, film, playwriting, and education. His tendency towards “unconventional casting” and “pushing all the envelopes” has earned him both eye rolls and awards. He carries each of those with honor. He's very active in the queer rights community and welcomes the opportunity to work with people of all of the spectrums.

Aside from his obsession/addiction to theatre, Ty enjoys spending time with his spouse Carol and their College freshman “Rainy” as well as his parents Linda and Smokey (who wil be 91 this December), collecting things he really has no room for, and the unending battle against the scour of chipmunks!
